St Peter & St Paul School has held a special place at the heart of the historic market town and surrounding villages of Chesterfield for 75 years. As a proudly non-selective school for children aged 4 -11 we aim to deliver an excellent education for our children and to unlock and fulfil the potential of every child , truly providing an investment for life.

Nestling in 6 acres of beautiful grounds and woodland within central Chesterfield, we are within minutes of the M1 and the train station with easy access from Sheffield, Matlock , Darley Dale , Baslow , Barlow and surrounding villages.

Inspirational and highly qualified teaching staff deliver classroom based teaching to small class sizes ,where staff can focus on each child as an individual so every child flourishes.


The school provides specialist teaching in Sport ,Swimming, Music , Modern Foreign Languages, Life Skills and Forest School.
